New Investors

Fantastic news. To have numerous individuals investing in our club is a testament to the way it is being run and the sound footing we have. Small steps and a clear plan. When you think back less than a decade ago in those dark dark days of non league we very nearly went under over a relatively small loan from the COOP. Makes you rub your eyes in disbelief. 👏👏👏
 
The great thing is that you just know and trust that these investors are what the club needs, just like all the others. It is easy to get the wrong kind of investor who destabilizes and has own agenda, but this is not our model. In Clive and the board we trust. Happy days.
 
Absolutely fantastic stuff. To think how bleak things were looking in the days of the Co-op early loan repayment news. Then when we were struggling to even trouble the top half of the Conference year after year with gates barely reaching 2000. Fast forward a few short seasons and the whole ethos and identity of the club is unrecognisable on and off the pitch. We really are grateful to all the people that kept the club above water until Bob got Clive on board. This steered us into much calmer and uncharted positive waters. Still have to pinch myself that it has all happened sometimes tbh.

Wonder whether the share purchase from last week was that other guy or these three?

I got the impression from the last Harvey interview that he made funds available for the Erhahon signing. Who knows, perhaps there is a tranche to go in yet from these gents.
