PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM NEWS - Liverpool v Norwich (19:45 GMT)
Ricky van Wolfswinkel

Midfielder Philippe Coutinho is in line to start against Norwich after only being fit enough for the bench in the defeat at Hull on Sunday.

Defender Daniel Agger and forward Iago Aspas could also start, having been overlooked for the Tigers defeat.

Norwich have no fresh injury concerns for their trip to the Emirates.

Anthony Pilkington and Robert Snodgrass are still sidelined and Ricky van Wolfswinkel expects to return for the game with Swansea on 15 December.

3 defenders and 3 attackers as subs.

Looks like Beccs go no chance as Hooper will exchange for Elmander and Josh Murphy watching again - Josh not getting much game time at all

Liverpool

Mignolet, Johnson, Flanagan, Agger, Skrtel, Allen, Gerrard, Henderson, Sterling, Coutinho, Suarez

PREMIER LEAGUE HEAD-TO-HEAD - Liverpool v Norwich (19:45 GMT)
Norwich manager Chris Hughton

Norwich's last win at Anfield came in April 1994 courtesy of a long-range Jeremy Goss shot. It was the last goal scored in front of the original Kop before it was demolished.

Norwich have won just three of 25 Premier League away games under Chris Hughton (W3, D7, L15).

Hughton's side have scored just eight goals in the last 14 away games and failed to score in eight of those 14 matches.

PREMIER LEAGUE HEAD-TO-HEAD - Liverpool v Norwich (19:45 GMT)

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League matches against the Canaries (W7, D1) but have won only one of their last four Premier League games.

The Reds put five goals past Norwich in both league games last season, while Luis Suarez has scored seven in his last three games against the Canaries, including two hat-tricks.

Brendan Rodgers' side have conceded three goals or more in successive games for only the third time in the Premier League era. They last conceded as many in three consecutive top-flight matches in 1954.

MOTD's Alistair Mann at AnfieldLiverpool v Norwich (1945 GMT)

"Having recorded their second win in three, Norwich will come to Anfield feeling very comfortable with the underdog tag and wholly aware of their hosts' need to beat them.

Liverpool's surprising lapse at Hull on Sunday raised as many questions as it did eyebrows. Firstly, it was yet another breach defensively - conceding three goals in a game for the second successive weekend."

BREAKING TEAM NEWS - Liverpool v Norwich (1945 GMT)

Liverpool bring Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Agger back into their side after defeat to Hull on Sunday. Joe Allen replaces Lucas Leiva in midfield.

Bradley Johnson replaces Gary Hooper in the only change from the Norwich side that beat Crystal Palace at the weekend.

Liverpool starting XI: Mignolet, Johnson, Flanagan, Agger, Skrtel, Allen, Gerrard, Henderson, Sterling, Coutinho, Suarez

Norwich starting XI: Ruddy; Martin, R Bennett, Bassong (c), Olsson; Johnson, Fer, Howson, Hoolahan, Redmond, Elmander.

Yep bloody annoying. Why leave our top scorer out. Wouldn't see Liverpool leaving out Suarez would you ! :idiot:

Lets hope for a miracle!

Mark from Derby: Why has Norwich boss Chris Hughton dropped Gary Hooper? Scores on Saturday and is quoted as saying he can't wait to play at Anfield! Defensive midfielder in Johnson deployed instead so Norwich will sit back and invite Liverpool onto them! Man City got seven, how many will Liverpool get I wonder?

We have 3 top scorers in the Prem - Hooper, Fer and Howson all on 2, though Hooper is our top overall with 4
