The silence on the Kayode affair does no one any good. Nature abhors a vacuum. Carlisle fans forum awash with various theories, the two most favoured being an intervention by Evans and a refusal by a now-fit JJ to risk injury for a team he's about to leave.

Probably about L2/National League standard. We have had three different managers since High's loan spell with us, and I think that that was his long-overdue first goal!

League 1 - Burton A. avoided relegation. Carlisle U. were relegated long ago. Barnsley qualified for the L1 play-offs - first semi-final match on 3rd May. Presumably McCart will still be avaiable to play for them.

Paul Davis (Advertiser) Twitter - SE will be arranging a friendly game over the next few days to check on young "Loan Squad" players Durose and Holvey, plus keeper Ford (who hasn't been on out loan), before making a decision on renewing their contracts (or not). Hull and Douglas are still under contract for next season. McGuckin is still out on loan at Dundalk, but is injured.

LoI Prem. (k.o. 1300)
Drogheda v Dundalk
McGUCKIN still out injured
HT : 0-0

Dundalk conceded in injury time after the Drogheda keeper had been sent off. Can't find any information on McGuckin injury.

Barnsley were eliminated from the L1 Play-offs and will play against the Millers next season

Just McGuckin left out on loan now.

Hope he doesn't arrange it at Crawley - they've had to call off their play-off game today due to a waterlogged pitch.

It's May for heaven sakes where is the sun!
