First member of the "Loan Squad" for the 2023/24 season is Peter Kioso. Season-long loan to the Posh. Be interesting to see if he is fit enough to play in their pre-season friendlies.

Mack Warne (no longer with RUFC) and Curtis Durose were the first players to go out on loan last season - both to Gainsborough Trinity. The rest of the 2022/23 "Loan Squad" were Hull, Bola, McGuckin, and McCart. Could be roughly the same number this time?

I'd like to think we would keep some of the former apprentices, particularly McGuckin who might be in the manager's mind as he played the whole ninety minutes in Spain. And I'd also like to see McCart given a chance to impress too - perhaps in the friendlies and the Cup game.

Kioso played the whole game for what was a Posh first team/rseerves mixed line-up . Clarke-Harris also played.

No other Millers players have gone out on loan yet this season.

When I glanced at the score I for a moment thought bizarrely Posh had lost 1:0 at Sporting Lisbon. Then I realised they had fallen to the mighty Peterborough Sports! Archie Collins what were you thinking!

PK yesterday from Posh fans; 'really impressive', 'looked good', 'I love Kioso', 'best RB in ages', 'got forward but did his defensive duties well.'
I also appreciate PK.
Unfortunately 3 injuries, one a repeat injury did him no favours.
Do I reckon he had a fair crack at the starting 11 when near enough back to fitness.?
No I don't reckon he did however I don't know what goes off behind the scenes.
We will have the option to recall him back in January if need be.
Hope he has a good season.

Kioso played whole game at RB. Posh fans are pleased with him. 1 assist. Three league games in and no sign of any injury problems. I really am at a loss to understand MT's thinking here.
weird decision 're Kioso. Not had chance with us. Posh fans like him, So did the Bolton ones. Might be MT in the same way as it was with Wash.

Peter Kioso had a really good game the other night against Barnsley.
The position and role Posh are asking him to play makes him look a natural.
Did his defensive duties and got forward on numerous occasions.
His assist was for the equaliser when he got to the bye-line and pulled it back for the goalscorer.
He had a couple of long range efforts, one from around 25 maybe 30 yards fizzed not too far over the bar.
Peter looks good in a very decent Posh side that will be there or thereabouts come the end of the season.

Ps.. I'm not a Tykes or Posh fan.
Free invite to Hospitality and a chance to check Peter Kioso out.
