The AFL season carried on through Covid to a conclusion a month or 2 back. First with zero crowds, but had nearly full houses for the finals - all in Queensland where we have managed to keep Covid down/away so far.

The only sport we have on Boxing Day to look forward to (apart from the Sydney to Hobart Yacht race) is the Boxing Day Test match between Australia and India. But since India contrived to be bowled out in the first test in Adelaide for 36 to lose heavily and Virat Kholi is now off home, that series looks dead in the water
