Match Thread: Wigan Athletic v Lincoln City

Good point on the road, certainly not to be sniffed at with Wigan winning 6 of their 9 home games prior to kick off.

Definite foul on Jenson.

Highest amount of away games in the league for us now (by four in some cases!) and second least home games.
If we're happy to press that high at a decent team away I'm encouraged for how it might shape up at home over the next months.

In terms of the discussion on the foul on Jensen, the ref was probably in a better place the best place) than anyone else in the stadium to see it, and he blew before "the scorer" shot

I'm pretty sure I also heard them comment on what should have been a second yellow card for kicking the ball away? Can't remember for sure.

Either way, it should have been a second yellow...
I thought the comment of the match was when Wigan had the ball just outside their penalty area and they referred to us having 11 men behind the ball. They did seem to state this a lot throughout the game as though we were being very defensive when in fact we were just being organised.
