No shame in this result. Southampton put out a side that would compete in a Premiership game. We’ve been excellent. Their first goal should not of stood, and we had a stonewall penalty which should have been given. We didn’t just set out to defend at all costs, but to bring the ball out and attack. Disappointing result but a fine effort. Well done City. Hold your heads high. UTI.

Brilliant performance.

Game settled by awful officials who rely on VAR. Wish they’d come out and explain themselves or admit the error. Instead they’ll be back in the Prem on Boxing Day. Hard job made harder by being inept.
