again the difference is in the finishing. as seen at doncaster and peterborough.
understandably they have the edge on the attacking set pieces.

their guy gave the free header absolutely everything.
we have had 6 or 7 reasonable chances, but languid has overtaken clinical.

hopefully will continue to make chances and see if we can bag one.

Our conversion rate especially away from home must be awful, 7 goals in 7 and half games.
Only a win and a draw away from home, praying it all changes tonight as if we do get level their crowd will soon turn on them as they aren't happy with the manager.
 
Average first half. Had some odd chances, Connolly's the best probably.

Offside perhaps on their goal??

Crowd quiet (them and us).
Seats bit cramped but not Luton ultra squashed at least.
 
One player who hasn't had a chance (yet) is Walker. Playing ok but need composure when in sight of goal, Pompey's defence really not up to much even with the mighty Raggs.
 
We really need a bit more composure and the confidence to have a shot. Andrade, Akinde and O’Connor have all had pretty good opportunities and with the grass being slick no reason not to have a dig from the edge of the box. Just need to make sure the passes go to feet - they’ve just been a fraction off at times.
