Will be setting off quite early to have a few hours with my parents just north of the City.

I think Shrewsbury are my most seen opponents of City over the years. Plenty of very decent results away from home at both their old place and the new ground. Wembley as well of course. Different story at Sincil Bank though having sat through 4-0 and 5-1 losses and I am struggling to recall a win at home. Hopeful to break that run today

3-0 in 1975 to put Alan Durban in his place.

Keep the faith, though this is the test. Two good away results become less so if the following home game can't be won. Time to get the first run of successive wins for this season sorted and take it on from there.

March 2005 2 0, Green and Yeo.
Quite a few wins there.

My big match experience today will consist of listening to the game on iFollow from a Sports Centre Car Park in Cannock while my son participates in Regional Handball Trials. I was considering finding a Milk Bar somewhere to have a frothy coffee and a slice of fruit cake, but decided a trip back to the 1950's on top of a trip to Cannock is too much to take in a single day.

I guess there will be a large contingent from Wigan

One of the linesman today is the one that sent off Nat Brown at home against Torquay for handball (under Moyses I think?).
