Defeat on Monday and MS will be under real pressure no matter how long your contract is for if you keep losing you will not last long.

I know we lost and that there are a lot of issues to unpick, but I actually felt that we were in it until the end, that there was some real fight from the whole squad and if the rest of the season is like that, it will be much more fun than 2023.

We only looked decent when we switched to two up top. But then that was ruined by the last substitutions (3 players) which totally destroyed what little momentum we had.

Totally panic stations from a very worried and tactically naive set of coaches.

yet we decided to reduce our dependence on loans. always thought that was a big mistake for a club with our finances. i wonder how many l1 teams are running with just three loans, and none from prem teams. naive imo
