Would be a good win today, financially and to try and stop the rot.

Poor ticket sales so far however, Hartlepool are bring 800 - I fear we are the underdogs already.

Be setting off in a bit. Popping into the parents than buying a ticket when I get there. Going to adopt a lucky dip attitude of seeing where I sit today.

So much doom and gloom on this site at the moment. Cheer up peeps. Nearly Christmas so could be far worse

Clashing with what is by far the most popular day for the Christmas Market was probably not a great choice, unless of course you are an away supporter. Not helped by two consecutive abject home performances. We have to stop them having the away trip of the season. Come on City, time to show some fight and to remember what it is like to score winning goals.

They probably had that last round !

Today's ref, Bobby Madeley, is the best ref seen at Sincil Bank this year, although I can't remember which game he was ref. A Premiership standard ref in lower leagues after his social media foolishness cost him.

Did the Shrews game about 5 week back and was excellent. Quality referee

This would be way better, if they won, went to the Market and then got a massive home draw. What an away trip to talk about for fans and players alike. We mustn’t let it happen. Come on City.

The only reason I'm not coming down today is because of the Christmas Market.

With so fe tickets sold and so many Pools fans in the ground, it could feel like an away match so it might suit us better!

The 2 Hartlepool supporters have made me chuckle, both would like to take one of our strikers!

Typical weather for a second round fa cup game. Sunny, damp and chilly. Still think there’s an upset on the cards. Roles reversed and we were visiting a struggling team in the league above we’d fancy our chances.

Expecting a home win.

Stick to our style, stick with the best players we have available and play with a bit more confidence.

This isn't about worrying that we might lose to a team a bit lower in the pyramid than we are.

It's about taking the chance to be in the hat for the next round.

A full house in early Jan, against one of the big boys, the possible prize.

I thought we played well against Carlisle, some good moves and ball retention. It is only when we get into the opposition box that we lack thought and composure.

So to help us along I am bringing my daughter and grand daughter to bring us luck and if we score a bagful I will sign them up for the rest of the season.
