Jovon seems to be coming into form at just the right time - Skoobs has drip-fed him some time alongside strong colleagues to build his confidence and he's certainly learned a lot. Am happy with 3-0 at the break and plaudits to Lukas for having a great day at the office....

Time to shore up the midfield coming in to the second half with Teddy Bishop playing a part. Jensen is superb when presented with 1 on 1 situations. Come on the Imps.

Simply sensational first 25 mins but also a special mention to Lucas in goal with as good a keeping display as you’ll see, some superb saves to keep the clean sheet intact

HT. Slightly strange first half - first 30 mins we were all over them and they were struggling. They made two substitutions and we seemed to be all over the place. Need a HT MS team talk to get the discipline and organisation back into the team. An early goal from us after HT should settle them down again. Jovon is having a blinder and so unlucky not to score himself.

The difference with Makama is that Skoobs has taught him how to press instead of that half hearted closing down that many said was just his languid running style.
Clearly it wasn’t because he is now accelerating into closing down and looks a different player in every aspect of his game as a result.
