Can remember the first couple of years we played them after the originals had joined the league. Went to plough lane around 1980 or 81. Can always remember a Chinese feller who supported them. standing on a terrace.
Who was to know they’d sweep through the leagues to do what they did?

What a blow having to attend the Lincoln office today and tomorrow.. wonder what to do this evening...;)
Meanwhile I've been despatched to the Lake District following an act of domestic revenge by my wife. She had to cancel our August break at very short notice as I had Coronavirus, so I have no doubt she deliberately chose the rebooking to clash with a home game. My wife of course denies this despicable retaliation.

To repeat a post from another thread, AFCW have either won or drawn 8 times this season after being behind, as follows:

7/8 Doncaster (A) L1 Won 2-1 after being a goal down with 30 minutes to go
14/8 Bolton (H) L1 Drew 3-3 after being 3-1 down with 16 minutes to go
28/8 Ipswich (A) L1 Drew 2-2 with a 95th-minute equaliser
4/9 Oxford (H) L1 Won 3-1 after being 1-0 down with 35 minutes to go
7/9 Portsmouth (H) FLT Won 5-3 after being 3-2 down with 10 minutes to go
11/9 Morecambe (A) L1 Won 4-3 after being 3-2 down with 18 minutes to go
2/10 Burton (H) L1 Drew 1-1 with a last minute equaliser
16/10 Sheff Wed (H) L1 Drew 2-2 after being 2-0 down with 23 minutes to go

Only 3 of their 19 league goals have been scored in the first half.

My problem is those idiots who plan meetings in Lincoln on match days when I can sit at home and watch on iFollow..:ooops:

Just about sick of this shit bus service. No issue with cutting them down to every thirty minutes due to staff shortages, but the bus should have been here 15 minutes ago. Tempted to just go home.

Let’s hope we are losing with 10 minutes to go. Problem sorted!
