Took my delivery of a Lancashire haggis today ready for it, aka a Bury Black pudding.

And just managed to catch mine, all ready for our family Burns' supper later....
Cullen Skink for starters, then onto Haggis Neeps & Tatties, and Cranachan for dessert...with a few lovely drams and verses interspersed.

Without the ball, ipswich battled superbly and closed down superbly
we were not good enough with our passing to overcome that.

The level of ineptitude throughout this team is staggering. You could replace Vickers, Eardley, Anderson and Walker with broken Subbuteo players and see no diminution of ability or effectiveness. Utter tripe. I don’t care what they’ve done in the past, they’re not playing for last weeks gate and iFollow money.

That is the toughest game on paper left out the way being about the only silver lining.. poor game, 2 up front seemed an odd tactic (although john jules did well), still mucking about with it at the back, melbourne had a tough afternoon. Oh well.. was always likely to be a loss and it wasnt a bad one.

Really need to rethink those short goal kicks, by the time they get it out to the flanks the opponents telegraph it and they lose it in their own half.

Sounded a familiar and frustrating away day again, one 'moment' cost us.

But - in terms of league position of opposition, that's the hardest of the remaining away games out of the way, must be looking to improve results and tactics.
