Managerial merry go round

So is this the moment Sam Allardyce gets another opportunity to be manager of of the country.
Step aside Boris .
We'd have a decent defence policy under Big Sam

Huddersfield looking for a new manager shortly

Just read that. Seems the old different vision moving forward has come into play which sounds very similar to us only a few months ago. At least with ours we have had the summer break to get players used to the new way of playing/training etc...Wonder if Sean Dyche might be tempted especially as they play Burnley on the opening weekend

I wonder who is pushing 'that one' at Huddersfield. Surely the manager in this case, given he almost got them over the line. Spooky parallels with us certainly though, after a near miss in the play offs.

"Not going to another club atm. Corberan just feels it fairer to step down if not aligned 100% with the club’s vision of the path ahead post-Wembley."

Bound to get offers after his efforts last season.

Danny Schofield is the new head coach. The former Huddersfield midfielder spent 10 years at the club as a player and returned in 2020 to coach the their under-19 team. He will be assisted by Narcis Pèlach.

Thought a few would enjoy this - Lee Johnson’s Hibs have been on the brink of being knocked out of the Scottish League Cup after a bad start. Now been confirmed due to fielding an ineligible player.

Hasslebaink felt like one who could have left towards the end of last season. He's had a couple of difficult games albeit Wycombe and then playing with 10 men for 89 minutes last weekend!

Jimmy Floyd Piggybaink is not popular at Burton, although Ben Robinson has a certain loyalty to him.

Watched the ITV4 highlights last night and the way Nigel Pearson was talking he just looks so fed up with the game in general you can see him walking away

Schofield isn't doing very well at Huddersfield but they don't have a pot to piss in so I can't see them getting rid any time soon. Corberan left when he found out how little backing he would have this year, having worked miracles to get them so close to the Prem last time around. Transfermarkt reckons £11.5m in, £846k out.

First League Manager gone, Rochdale sack Robbie Stockdale after a start of 4 losses from 4 league games.

I loved this piece from an article on Stockdale on the BBC only yesterday:

Stockdale's side have also scored just one goal in four league games this term and are bottom of League Two, the only side without a point in the division.

"There are a lot of positives," Stockdale added.

Can you be sacked for being delusional?
