Outside the top 6, nobody has conceded fewer goals. Despite Pards working on the defence for 4 days a week, Stoke have conceded 25 goals fewer.Toon_Demon - 6/5/2013 21:50
Aye, credit where it's due, if there's one thing Di Canio does well it's fire up a team, although Stoke should shoulder some of the blame too, there's no way this sunderland side, down to ten men, should be able to make a comeback against what is (according to pundits, i haven't checked the stats) one of the meanest defences in the league.
I have every faith that if he stays, he will get us a clear shot at the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.BLACKBOB - 6/5/2013 22:30

Already accepted we are going, even more convinced of it now. Wigan will beat Swansea tomorrow and I think they could even get a draw with Arsenal, which means, even if we win at QPR it might not be enough. I'll be dreading going into the arsenal game needing a point let alone 3. There is no fight or determination in our club at the minute, no-one really gives a fuck. Players and hopefully the manager will move on as soon a our expected fate is confirmed.
