I was going to do a thread on this today...

I findi it quite astonishing that most of them still cant speak english.Tiote,Cisse & Santon all been here long enough and only have a very very basic grasp of english.
Does Cabaye even speak any? How many of our players are interviewed live on tv after games?

Tiote has been here three years, and he still can't speak English??

I think it's safe to say most of us know Tiote isn't the sharpest tool in the box. Such a waste of a solid skull too

We just need Joey Barton back as captain.

That's actually spot on in my opinion.

Not so much the person but the character.

Pardew is the puppet or victim really in that he treads the path that the regime lay for him but would probably have kept the loud, leadership type people who the likes of Dekka see as a threat.

If the regime weren't so snidey then there would be no need to hide stuff.

I meant from the point of view of being able to communicate in French but you have a point.

Isn't this a pretty lame excuse to be using at this stage of the season?

Spot on, if the alleged quotes are true they really are scraping the bottom of le barrel. Smacks of clutching at straws to me, it's quite pathetic really.

Officemonkey - 3/5/2013 16:36

Has anything this club has done since Mike Ashley took over been anything other than pathetic?

Fair point OM, but after this season I live forever in the hope that MA finally realises that he needs someone at the helm (not Dez) who knows how to REALLY capitalise on his investment.
He (MA) must surely be furious at the way 'his' investment has performed after HE authorised the Jan' spending, which we all know was too late but did Dez make that call.

"I worry about how many sugars Cabaye’s got in his tea, for goodness’ sake.”

Can anyone translate this latest pardew ramblings

He's finally lost the plot. He isn't a well man.

Its all waffle.
The reality is he should have just come out and said:
1. I chose the wrong lineup
2. The defending was abysmal
3. The players did not give 100%
4. Thjeir heads dropped when we went behind
5. I was clueless on how to change the game other than bring on Ameobi.

No more needed to be said but he loves to waffle along day after day looking for excuses, refusing to blame the players, refusing to drop those out of form and insisting he and his great coaches will sort it out.

Pardew is a spy and sending cryptic messages out to other agents when he talks like this. thats all...wink wink

Translated into Parsnipesse or French that reads;
1. The line up I chose didn't perform to my high standards.
2. The defenders didn't perform to my high standards.
3. The players do not perform to my high standards.
4. Their heads did not perform to my high standards.
5. The substitutions did not perform to my high standards.
6. I am amazing but everyone else's standards arnt high enough.

Can't he just draw on a tablet, use a smartboard and just use the translator? He can still tell Cabaye or the official linguist but use technology it's there to be used.
