If a fine is the punishment, then depending on how big it is, you'd think so yeah. Some teams might have a fair whack of disposable income.

He never played for Spurs. In fact, he never played in the Premier League at all and only 22 times in the Championship. Disappeared into the Belgian second division at the age of 21 and has barely been heard of since. He has only played 53 games in English football (scoring just 4 goals), and Doncaster is his 14th club in 13 years. Weird indeed.

I just hope the sanctions prove sufficient and are implemented to prevent this from happening. Did I read that it’s a 4 million+ payment that championship teams receive......some may chose to go for it and risk punishment.
