Naismith ready to kick on!
Kal Naismith, if I'm completely honest, was someone I had almost 'forgotten about' as being a Pompey player! Until the former Rangers and Accrington man made his debut against Exeter on Tuesday.
He, of course, wasn't alone in the senior stakes as we got a first look at Adam Barton too.
Was Naismith the first signing Paul Cook made? I have trouble remember last week these days, let alone several months ago, although I seem to recall him being one of the earlier summer signings when he came in...
Pre-season was something he played some part in but a thigh injury ahead of the kick-off had seen the winger sidelined since but he made his return in the Paint Pot, from the bench, and has since spoken to portsmouthfc.co.uk about this.
