It looked like it might have been a decent opportunity for the winger after Rodrigo won the ball from Fernandes deep in United's half. A typical slide rule ball from De Bruyne put Sterling between two defenders, but his touch takes it out of play.

The midfielder can't connect cleanly though and Ederson gathers comfortably
