Wouldn't surprise me as he genuinely doesn't look settled here. Not a regular starter and only 1 assist and 1 goal this season

For whatever reason his move to us has not worked out.

I'm guessing that frees up some decent wages (given what Clough said when he left them) so maybe, just maybe we do have a marque signing coming our way.

Mad sport, ain’t it. A guy can be a world beater in on position but stick him 10 feet away or alongside 3 rather than 2 players and he can’t beat an egg.

That always got me with England’s midfield in the 2000s.

Moving Lapslie on is probably the right thing to do if replaced. Never really clicked at gfc and unlikely too after a year
