I don't know much about this kid but six senior caps for Croatia and nearly a hundred appearances for Rubin Kazan, who are solid performers in Russia's top flight finishing fourth last season, suggest he's got something about him.

Looking at Rubin's recent line ups Slutsky played him as a defensive midfielder shielding the back two in a 4-1-4-1.
 
We better not fuck about with him on the bench.

He should immediately go in at RCB as first choice.

Retsos went on loan to Verona and when he finally started a game he went off injured after 5 minutes! Quite a waste.

Sick to death of seeing good young players ruined by injury. I swear it's been happening more.
