General Football thread

B team reached semi final of cup last night beating Shef Utd 3-2 at Bramall lane. Konate got two quality goals. His contract runs to end of season and at 23 needs first team experience. Will Forest offer him an extension and go out on loan or release him.

Joe Gardiner scored the other goal and at 18 is developing nicely. Surely a loan beckons. Likewise for Powell, Nadin and Abbott. A cup run certainly puts them in the shop window. A very young B team. No first team squad members n sight.
 
See the Arsenal boys were in melt down mode this morning; they have never seen such disgraceful refereeing - they obviously have not seen too many of our games this season.

The Saka non penalty got them spitting feathers, even though it was never a fucking penalty in a million years.

Didnt have much to say about the two blatant penalties Munich should have had

Unbelievable

Saka should have been booked for diving, and as for the handball….
 
I saw something about Leeds accounts being a bit of a mess too, not sure if failing FFP but not great in terms of owing other clubs nearly £200m for players?

Also, we think we have been badly run, but have you seen the situation with them and that striker they thought would light up the EFL and fire them to promotion, Augustin?

cant really understand how, but they seem to have managed to pay a loan fee for him, pay his wages, and then decide to not sign him as they didn't get promotion, but screwed up the contracts and now have had to pay the perm transfer fee and also his wages for the 5 year contract. BUT didn't get to keep him as he signed for another club on a free transfer: Nantes and now Basel and is scoring goals in Europa league things.

So they paid loan fee, wages, perm fee, 5 years wages, and some costs. He player 3 games for leeds, no goals.

Leicester get a points deduction next season whatever happens.

They have one waiting in the PL if they get there.

And the EFL will give them one for breaching rules this year if they do not

They will yes but they have also breached the EFL rules so will get a deduction next season if they are still there.

You almost want them promoted so they can get the EPL deduction which sends them down to collect the EFL deduction…
