Froch v Kessler

Aye as expected. Froch looked like he felt the pace after a quick start but never really in any doubt.

Two proper fighters.
 
Great heart and respect shown by both fighters , shame there is not more fights of this calibre.
Not for the boxing purist and not a great deal deal of silky skills on show but a brilliant fight from two warriors
 
Not one for the purist ? Really Kev ? Any purist should be lapping that up . Some phenomenal skills on display, not flashy I'll grant you but look at Froch's jab, Kessler's hand speed , both fighters right hands. Tremendous !! Two of the absolute toughest in the game . Privilege to watch them .
 
Yeah neither fighter paid much attention to defensive skills which probably made for a better fight . Granted froch used his jab well for first 3 rounds and Kessler had 3 rounds when he got closer and threw some good combos before pure will and heart took over. Not exactly text book boxing but their styles made for a great fight.
Not knocking the pair of them they did what they do best scrap
 
Froch did well to keep Kessler at arms length for most of the fight, and when he did get caught he took it, same with Kessler although in the last round i thought he was going down.. looked wobbly on a couple of occasions but still didn't go down.. Brilliant fight, really like Kessler, very good Boxer. best fighter won though
