I remember the figure of £16,666 at the time. I contributed to the call for us to help pay the transfer fee. At the time I was only earning about £15 a week. I contributed a whole £1 and always claimed that I paid for his little toe

I must be wrong but liked JA, and my mates pull my leg about it ! and no doubt he had to go partly because of the wage bill. He wanted to go back to London ish and the move suited both parties but recently only very brief sub appearances, last weekend, 3 minutes ?! Hope it works for him and gets some confidence back which at times was lacking at SB.
