Reading the official statement from BRFC about the takeover. Really not sure what’s happening.

A company called Dwayne Sports have owned them for the last few years and racked up a heap of debts.
A guy called Wael Al Qadi has now brought the controlling interest in BRFC from them. It’s his own family that owns Dwayne Sports. So he purchased the controlling interest off other family members Weird.
The statement then says that as part of the restructure, Wael “consolidated” debts of £16mill and £18 mill that BRFC (and BRFC1883?) owed to the parent company as well as writing off a further 2.1 mill.
I’ve no idea of all the finances behind all that. But you never know, it just may be all pukka
According to Gas fans, they’ve done zero to improve things onfield for 2 or 3 years. Then all of a sudden this happens and they get in 5 quality players in a week, without even knowing when football will start. And a further rumour that they are lining up Dominic Samuel.
