Yeah, he was an awesome time trialist. That's how he won the tours.

How on earth he had the energy to win 5 Tours, 2 Giros and a Vuelta, even with the drugs, is beyond me. No wonder he (sadly) only lasted to 53.

Interesting to note that TUDOR are sponsoring a pro-cycling team nowadays.
While big brother ROLEX sponsors “toffs” sports such as yacht racing, equestrianism and golf, their ”cheaper” (a comparative term) little brother Tudor, is into cycling.
Obviously, we are a sport for the peasants - and free to watch (no pun intended).
I wouldn’t have it any other way.
