Corbynwatch

I'm not sure what is going on, but considering they are all supposed to be on the same side it is shocking what is happening. The woman in the interview I believe had 20 odd years on the NEC, Labour through and through. I'm old enough to remember the militant tendency in the 80's that almost destroyed the Labour Party. This seems equally as dangerous. Alan Johnson is very concerned that the party may split.

It's a bizarre situation driven by bearded academics.

Problem is Corbyn-supporters don't realise having 500,000 rabid flag wavers is all well and good, but if nobody but that 500,000 would dream of voting Labour under him, it's irrelevant.

It's noticeable how many "normal" Labour voters are now without a party and openly dismissive of the existing Party.

To underline my previous point...

Hilariously, Corbyn has won by a landslide.

I'm not sure what this means for Labour.

Hopefully there will be a general election soon.

Yes having Mr Corbyn win by a landsilde is going to chane the political landscape of not only the UK but the whole of Europe. The Tsunami of Indifference will be felt at the White House as President Trump will want to be on the UK good side as we move into a new era of political greatness.

or

No one will actually give a fucking shiney shyte.

Well done to Corbyn and Momentum, they've finally got what they wanted, a protest party and a ruined political party.

We have no strong opposition now.

Congratulations to the Tories, that'll be at least 10 years in power then!?

The official programme for the 1988 event, held one week after the IRA murdered three British servicemen in the Netherlands, states that “force of arms is the only method capable of bringing about a free and united Socialist Ireland.” Mr Corbyn used the event to attack the Anglo-Irish Agreement, the precursor of the peace process.

Yes I heard somewhere that he has the record for the most times someone has voted against his own party , yet now he expects everyone to tow his line.

Just not going to happen and the Labour party will be split asunder.

Not unexpected however a Tory government for at least a decade is correct; At one time that would have delighted me. Now it bring me fear and dread. The only small crumb of comfort I can take from it is at least IBS, CameronC**t and Osbourne have gone who had spent 6 years destroying the disabled, sick plus many others.

It's been quiet since those 3 have gone on welfare. I am hoping that Teresa May is kinder. Hoping be the operative word.

Though I suspect they are too tied up in the fudge of Brexit to focus on the vulnerable at the moment.

The only other crumb of hope is the liberals can turn this into a plus for them and get more mp's back into parliament. Would that do any good? Well if there is a chance of another hung parliament and the liberals having to bed again with the Tory's then at least policy would get watered down.

Labour are done for. This takes me back to the days of Michael Foot and then Neil Kinnock

Neil Kinnock was actually a really important figure and reformer. It was him who started the war to remove Momentum and the far left. He won. He's now seen Labour lose and as he said the other day, he'll not see another Labour government in his lifetime.

Hopefully he will buy some suits and shirts that fit, has a shave and smartens himself up. He aspires to be on the world stage representing the country but looks like a sack of shit.
Standards !

He's a twat for supporting the IRA but still, I'm sure we've all said stupid things over the last 28 years. There should be a statute of limitations on stuff we've said.

A statue of limitations for the person who wants to run the country? A man and his sidekick who have done all that with the IRA and Sin Fein and shared a stage with hezbollah and Hamas?

No, not for me, sorry, we might all have said silly things, he's sat down with the scum of the earth, murderers... and he wants to lead the country.

He's a wolf in sheeps clothing, don't trust him or his lickspittles, they've ruined the party, it's what he's wanted for 30 years and now he's done it.

Or to answer your question quicker.

No ! :17:

Lets be honest the Villa have more chance of winning the champions league in 2020 than this idiot has of getting voted into number 10

No Trekker, I think that's not altogether fair. He had a massive battle within that party and did massive work to modernise it and kick out the wankers who have now got back in and had their way.

I think a major part of his problem electorate wise was being Welsh. I know that reads badly but there is that sort of prejudice... and yes, it works the other way as well, I've been in a few old mining villages (before Maggie fucked them all over and fucked them backward again just to make doubly sure they were totally fucked) and they don't have much love for the English.

He was actually doing not so bad in the polls but he fell over and the ridicule that followed and The Sun in those days was Tory and the sheep follow what they say... they turned not many years later to back Blair.
