Great set-piece, late run from Forrest to the back post, crosses the ball and it comes off someones head and then bounces off Dembele. Dembele may have been offside after the header but there was almost nothing in it! Regardless, it's a goal and we're 1-0 up from a free-kick after 2 mins!
 
Almost another one! Free-kicks are a real weakness for Man City and we're going to try and exploit them! Toure with a shot which brings a corner.

We're pressing them really high and quickly! Now a free-kick in a shooting area!
 
Shit! Mishit shot from Kolarov, Fernandinho controls it and he's one on one with the keeper. EVERY Celtic player thought he was offside...he wasn't!
 
Looks like Brown is going to be the one to push forward from midfield and Bitton is just going to sit in.
 
AW FECK! 2-2! Sterling! Poor pass from Dembele to Brown, he's out of it. Bitton doesn't try to get to the ball at all, everyone else backs off and the through ball is only watched by Tierney who tracks the Stirling run but a quick turn and shot beats him and Gordon in goal too!
 
Rogic is a fucking joy to watch at times! Beautiful skill in the middle of the pitch and he's then moving towards goal!

Played magnificently in that first half. Both their goals came from us gifting the ball to them with terrible passes. But for that...

Very good first half. We're just not used to teams that get on a loose ball so aggressively. Get another goal and sharpen up and we could have something here.

Good first half, much more like how we need to play and how we should have played against Barca but still need to cut out the slack passing and poor defending. You can see Brendan has done a lot of work with them for this game and really looked into their weaknesses! We don't look outclassed.....and considering the cost of their squad, that's impressive itself!
