I find it amazing how far we all travel in the modern world . I am quite a nervous traveller , and don’t travel independently, but I am glad I made the effort to go to NewYork .... a place I thought I would never go to in til recent years

There is so much to see.
Better go whilst able to and before a lot of places are ruined by
the tourist trade itself. Its a difficult balance to know where and how to go.
Personally I am a bad tourist so try to avoid other tourists.
We tend to go under our own steam but some places need to be organised
which is why we are going to South Africa on a tour as opposed to organising
ourselves as in Sri Lanka.
