Please Note This Game is an Early Kickoff
*Coming thick and fast following the International break and we are off to Belgium, to the capital and largest city of the province of West Flanders in the Flemish Region of Belgium. Club Brugge has enjoyed much European football success, reaching two European finals and two European semi-finals. Club Brugge is the only Belgian club to have played the final of the European Cup (forerunner of the current UEFA Champions League) so far, losing to Liverpool in the final of the 1978 season.
(*source wikipedia). They are currently 2nd in the Group Table having won 1 and drawn 1 and are on equal points with PSG.
City need to win this match to be certain of being in the top two but it is close and we will have to take our A game to Belgium. A special note that Kevin De Bruyne scored his first career hattrick against Brugge

City Team News
Only Ferran Torres is missing from the squad and there are no suspensions, both Ederson and Gabriel Jesus return to the fold after Brazil kept the players for an extra day after their International game. a bit of spite by the Brazilian Association, who knows.

This is a bizarre situation.

Didn't this happen when players flew to Croatia on returning from the last one - think they were Spurs/Villa who had broken ranks on the previous collective PL stance on this.

I did read that Alisson and Firmino did fly direct to Spain where Liverpool are playing in Madrid this week.

Brugge, or Club Bugger - despite being the back door men of the European Elite are doing better than expected. Even if they go ahead we are capable of cumming from behind to come out on top.

Having been miles of last game I will have another crack, don't think Gundog will start, even though I would pick him over Kev to rest him
Ederson
Zinchenko Laporte Dias Walker
Grealish Fernandinho Bernardo

Foden Jesus Mahrez

The Juniors are in action and tasking on their counterparts in Brugge, 0-0 but the Brugge team are quite good, but we too have had or chances, still first half though

terrible defending by City and we go a goal down in added on time and HT comes just after the goal Brugge EDS 1 City 0 but they have been the better team

Wilson-Esbrand dancing across the penalty area trying to find space to pull the trigger and when he did he got a good deflection well deserved equaliser
