Aston Villa - Liverpool Sun 4th October 19.15 Thread

Just f***ing brilliant wasn't it. The 5-1 back on 15/12/76, it could have been 10-1 but they just didn't go in after the break.
Tonight will go down in history for sure. It is right now a case of sitting in a dark room with a few cold cans, trying to just come down from on high and just take it all in. If there any anymore incomings and they had their doubts, they have surely been laid to rest.

MOTD2 should be extended and renamed MOTD7-2.

It's 'Pools worst defeat for 57 years and the worst defeat ever for Klopp. It is truly astonishing and sets the bar so unbelievably high. I do hope that certain pundits don't come with the covid and Allison injured crap. Sane was replaced by a £45m man and this was a seriously strong Liverpool team, champions of the world, no less.

I reckon the last player to score a hattrick against Liverpool in the PL was Dimitar Berbatov back in 2010.

It was a truly sensational performance in every respect really. The team performed as if they had played together for years and the transformation in midfield was unbelievable.

Watkins was just magnificent, his hold up play, the way he wins headers, his positional play and of course his goals. Grealish now has freedom. The thought of the likes of Luiz, Barkley, Grealish and Watkins really gelling is awesome. Everyone was at it.
McGinnine Zidane was like a pack of hounds. We even saw Mings tearing down the right wing beating tackles. Martinez looks very accomplished.

Magic wasn't it.
