All depends on Dale. If he is still interested in it he will splash the cash this month. If not back to non-league. Not sure where this leaves the matchstick stadium

I think before Dale they were ok - early 2000s they were a likeable club but I think they expanded up the leagues without really being able to cope with it both on and off the pitch

The “splashing the cash” is part of the problem at FGR and has resulted in a constant churn of managers and players which invariably results in an unstable team. FGR are not projecting an attractive prospect for any players to join their ranks at the moment.

They pay enough they will get lots of takers. They have always done it - they have signed loads of them it worked well enough in the short term for them to league one. I think it’s the management recruitment that’s the issue
 
You would expect that in League One these days that clubs would have suitable covers to protect against the recent temperatures.

Tactical so that the rearranged fixture would be post Jan and they'd have more signings, given it is a crucial match?

Granted yes, however giving up this early over 24 hours before doesn't appear to show the same level of commitment at getting the game on as say we are for ours...

It does indeed look a bit iffy, but Carlisle official coaches were due to depart at 06:00
