10 Points behind Lincoln

If we strip 2 points per game for extra games played, so Hull 4 points for their 2 extra games played and give 2 extra points for games in hand, so Doncaster 4 for their two in hand ( that is slightly over average points per game, but as close as I can get), then the table would look like this,

Team P GD GD
Peterborough 33 22 62
Hull 33 30 61
Lincoln 33 20 61
Sunderland 33 25 60
Doncaster 33 12 59
Blackpool 33 8 54
Ipswich 33 4 53
Portsmouth 33 13 52
Oxford 33 9 52
Accrington 33 6 52
Charlton 33 3 49

I know you cannot get 2 points for a single game, but as an exercise in trying to see where things lie at this point in time, I think we can see that there is definitely a 'top 5' that is opening up and they are covered by only 3 points and a 'next 6 covered by only 5 points'.

There is still a lot to play for and automatic promotion is still realisable goal.

That's a weird table! 🤣

Simples, if we beat Peterborough, Hull and Sunderland we will go up automatically. If we lose the majority of those three matches we don't.
