10/1 - shocking reallyNot sure what the odds were at the start of the season, but any of you that had a few quid on us finishing top 4, get ready to pick up your winnings.
One game at a time @remote - don't jinx it.I think 4th is ours to throw away now. Two more wins should do it.
Unai, is that you?Top 3 up for grabs now with Liverpool losing tonight and us still to play them.
Pretty much guaranteed top 5 to be honest, no way is Man U winning their next 5 games and we are losing our final 4.We're now gaurenteed a top 6 finish at the very least and thus aee qualified for Europe for the second season running.
So at the very worst we're getting our highest finish since 2010. Incredible achievement when you add in the extra games in Europe and the level of injuries we've had.
When was the last time we finished above Man U? In the MON years its was Fergie time. When we finished 2nd they won it? It must have been before football started, err I mean the PL started lol.
Jesus wept. 34 years.Must have been when we came second to Liverpool in 89/90.
Jesus wept. 34 years.
I don't think we beat them the season we won the league, we only do them in cup finalsProbably only beat them a handful of times in those years as well.
Drew 3-3 in both games.I don't think we beat them the season we won the league, we only do them in cup finals
Unai,
They showed that game on the Big Match Revisited a few weeks back. Fans standing, players No 1-11,muddy pitch, hefty challenges and not a shirt sponsorship in sight.Drew 3-3 in both games.
Surprise surprise they got a last minute pen at our place to equalise.
Seen us beat them twice at Wembley.Probably only beat them a handful of times in those years as well.
