I'm a bit suspicious about the 8 team play off talk. We have 6 teams wanting to play because they think they have a good chance, they can stand the costs and they will probably get good attendances. Many of the rest have little to gain and much to lose by playing on. The 10 club idea might persuade a few more to vote for the proposal. I still think the playing is done and it will between voiding and deciding outcomes on some sort of ppg.

If the intention is to basically have a cup competition with the winners winning promotion, it would be easier to run with 8 teams involved. If there was only six teams, for example, then you'd need to give a couple of teams a bye.

My guess is that the first round will be 3rd verses 10th, while 4th will face 9th and so on. Higher placed teams get home advantage.

Great, as if ppg is applied, we will be 10th.

Don't know why Ipswich are advocating it though, as they will fall to 11th and miss out.

Under that proposal, wouldn't it only be the Premier League expanding (well, maybe some leagues might vary by a team or 2 due to the differences in the number of promotion places available)? If there's no relegation, the Championship would lose 3 teams due to promotion to the Prem, and gain 3 teams promoted from L1, but with no teams coming down from the Prem, they'd stay at 24 teams. L1 would lose 3 teams to the Championship, and gain 4 from L2, but would still be back to 24 teams, as the "extra" team promoted would effectively be replacing Bury.

L2 would actually drop from 24 to 22 teams (4 up to L1, and only replaced by 2 up from the Conference)

etc.
 
Anyone know if we’d be able to get Roberts, Graham and Lee back for the Playoffs, perhaps on 1 month loan deals?
It seems like Jones and O’Connor are still with the club for now.

The Jordans are now free agents (?) , So we can't 'loan' them from anyone.
It would be short term deals ?
