My understanding is Ainsworth and Warburton were met with last week. I would’ve gone for either of them personally, but I’m not unhappy with Bonner, I would’ve pushed the boat out on either of them though if it were my call.

IMO he is worse than some of the other names interviewed, but is an upgrade on SC - so we're better off in the long run hopefully.

Bonner and Garrard have been spoken to also im told. Former makes sense given the odds shrinking.

Ainsworth was interviewed today, and yesterday Warburton was definitely interviewed I’ve just been told. Would frankly be happy with either of those, either would be a coup.

Not sure if this has already been mentioned, but 2 separate have told me Mark Warburton has been interviewed, wouldn't say watertight sources, but passing on some rumour.
