If they were they'd be off. They will do for now as we have to play the long game sadly. We are progressing overall. Hopefully can improve in the summer.
 
Seems as though Ashworth may not be replaced. Howe given more responsibility and Steve Nickson Chief Scout replacing Ashworth's role. Howe's nephew also promoted.
Find this strange especially when the powers that be said Howe needed a Director of Football above him to relieve the pressure.
Not sure Staveley knows much other than being in a love in with the Manager ad team.
Guess we will have to wait and see how this works out but I am convinced we will lose to Chelsea and be dumped out of the FA Cup
 
So what happens if no agreement is reached? Does that mean ashworthless sits on the sidelines for 2 years with full pay until he can go? Surely that's not fair on us
 
Presumably they will not appoint someone new, if they do, until Ashworth is off the books. Hopefully they will do so soon
 
I've seen players haggle over moves, get sent to the reserves and the move falls through and end up playing again. This is a strange situation there's no way back for ashworthless now. There has to be something to prevent staff from doing this. Just put it in the press you want to go "insert club here" and you get to sit on the sidelines for X amount of years on full pay. WTF

In the real world there would be a case against Man U for insider trading surely? Also bans for Ashworth and the other party. Let's hope so
 
Turned down by the Crystal Palace guy, maybe we are not the attraction Newcastle though. Hopefully they have a back up plan.
surprising they did not ascertain his interest before it became public.

Hopefully a tribunal. I've said all long the snake should be suspended without pay for his behaviour. In what other line of work would you behave the way he has and get indefinite time off with full pay. You couldn't make it up. Great outcome though showing RATcliffe and SNAKEworth up for exactly what they are VERMIN.
 
Sky Sports News being their usual 'let's have a big 6' shady selves by not mentioning anything on Craig Hope's exclusive about the Ashworth 'email' but then spinning the whole thing into us 'Just being angry because we want to be a big club and dont like the fact that another rival has pinched Ashworth'

If this tapping up was done by us then it would have been rolling news.
