Anybody know why we kept playing Young at left back instead of Targett in most preseasons? I thought that was weird unless Matt is injured?

That’ll be a clueless manager.

The same manager who got us promoted first time, when we were miles off when he joined. Kept us in the PL first time after a huge amount of changes. Then moved us up to 11th the following season.

First half was exactly what I feared - or perhaps expected would be more accurate. Poor preparation in pre season is showing, the defence are all over the place, upfront the new guys have not "clicked" yet.
