#COVID19

Fixed that FOR you yoof. BEFORE you start going into MELTDOWN & hammering & Sickling THE alert button
all SIDES didn’t like Corbyn & he is now OVER so don’t want any further debate on THIS. Even YOU must accept HE was NEARLY universally unpopular.
But are we better off under Johnson? Do you think we'd be putting children and teachers at risk? While Blair and others support the Tories!

No obviously we aren’t but Corbyn & his allies were & still are totally blind to how amazingly unpopular he was. Reasons for that have been gone over a hundred million times.

for whatever unfathomable reason, despite all the evidence about both & not matter how much people dislike it

Boris is popular with people & Corbyn isn’t, the fact that a dithering old Etonian with questionable personal life & some truly horrific quotes behind him is seen by many not a few as more of a man of the people than Corbyn is not only down to people’s stupidity it is also down to Corbyn & his teams total lack of any kind of skill or presentation.

I think the gap has been narrowing at an alarming rate for the tories but the truth is no matter how catastrophic bojo is i would still make a healthy wager that people feel magic grandpa (touch of the jimmy saville imo) would have been worse.

Fwiw blair was telling them to reorganise govt around a coherent response to covid. You can say blair=tory a million times and that wont make it true.

Not sure he could handle the party myself. Curious about who his patriarch is.

the media seem to like him & that’s all that matters to most people.

Doubt he’ll ruffle many feathers either which is usually what the back benchers go for hence Major, Ian & Duncan Smith, Vague, Camera on, tresemme

why Heseltine, Portillo, Clarke, Tebett never got the job & such a shock why Boris did

And do you remember that sick sick tory election tactic asking if we would trust our children with Corbyn? Stinking tories trying to pick up votes by implying Corbyn was a paedophile. Filthy campaigning, lying and smearing is the reason Corbyn didn't become PM. That and Starmer/Brexit.

Dear Christ. For the vast majority of voters the infighting and backstabbing behind the scenes was something they wouldn’t have paid attention to.

Every time Corbyn appeared on tv, however is a different matter and on tv he came across as a befuddled old grandparent without any real clue what he was doing.

Of course the photos of him with various people and/or groups he really shouldn’t have been seen with didn’t help either but the reality was he just wasn’t electable. Anyone with a modicum of political nous could have told you so within 5 minutes of him being given the job.

Stick to your conspiracies if you like and if it makes you feel better but that’s the reality and it’s why Boris is in charge now. Time to move on..

I’m not getting drawn into a debate again as it’s like debating a Brexiteer, flat earther or religious person, no matter what the evidence you won’t be shaken from your delusion. He lost two elections, every single person interviewed as to why they didn’t vote labour said Corbyn, the more rational thought he behaved dreadfully on Brexit, people can blame the lame stream media all they want Corbyn did nothing about it, he didn’t attack them, he didn’t offer any charisma, he didn’t even do a populist & say it was us against the media. He failed, he’s gone.

Think that politics has changed and the cult of personality is back with a bang. Current instabily suits these blaggarts- probably why they do so much to create it in the first place.

I can see sunak as a possible leader but not as a winner for the tories.
