On my way from Manchester - train was terminated in the Peak District, managed to get northern rail to pay for a taxi to lincoln, ETA 14:55. Bringing a significant amount of luck with me today.... UTI!

Northern Rail are useless. Cancelled my first train yesterday and then getting home the service was 40 minutes late.

G’day Imps from a VERY hot Perth. Having our hottest December ever. We’re in the middle of a heatwave - five consecutive days over 38 degrees (41 today). Enormous bushfire raging north of Perth. Some of our friends have been evacuated from their homes.
Hoping for a good result and performance today to ease the heat. Need to (re)build fortress LNER Stadium
