Puma kit deal

The deal is getting coverage across multiple news outlets.....with one exception.

The BBC of course. The national broadcaster, the one that was very quick to push the "FA investigate Jandon Sancho payment", are curiously lax in reporting the second biggest kit deal in PL history. :hmmm:

STOP PRESS......they have just caught up. However note how low key their article is....

The Liverpool Echo of course have their own take on it naturally.......moaning that the dippers should be able to use the size of this deal to squeeze their current supplier, New Balance, or other potential kit suppliers. Basically they use the "because we deserve it" logic. Don't they always.

Yes Auntie Beeb would be second in a snail v BBC Manchester City reporting race unless the news about City was detrimental to the Club

I find it interesting that how they cannot bring themselves to confirm with any confidence the size of the deal despite details being apparently available to everyone else.

Stand by for the demands for a massive investigation into whether this deal offers "fair value" :blah:

We await details of what they will do with the kit.

I don't think they can go down that road anymore unless they start to claim that Puma is controlled by our owners, much to the annoyance of those people who have tried to undermine us, we have grown into a Global club, still in its infancy but growing faster each day with each success and with that example our past history is combined with our recent history second only to Liverpool in the number of League Cups and counting

This is the New Balance that are owned, or have very strong ties to the Fenway Group?

I've asked numerous Liverpool fans who had the runner up bid when that kit deal went to tender, funnily enough I haven't received a reply from any of them.
