Very interesting listening to Skoobs pre match interview. I thought everything he said made sense. But we have had previous Managers who have all said the right things before and then done things completely differently.
To be fair to him it is the first time he has had a sustained period without a match and had a chance to hopefully get his messages across to the players.
He also has some proper forwards available at last and injured players becoming available. So hopefully Skooball will commence to a degree on Saturday.
I liked the way he said the club were still looking at perhaps bringing in a more experienced player or players in this window which we are crying out for in my opinion. He did say he didn't mean 30 to 36 Yr olds but players around 26/27 with a lot of game experience. Hopefully that means these player/players are already on the radar and moves are ongoing to get him/them here.
