Who make the best Liars?

Gender is not important in this question, more relevant would be profession and then follow that up by asking if it's the profession that attracts good liars or of people become trained to be good liars in that profession.

Personally I think the best liar are usually investigative police (not the "Bobby on the beat") and barristers. I believe that much of this ability comes down to training but also to conditioning.

As for men and women, about equal I'd say

I think it comes down to the individuals more than gender. Although I think in many cases people will be more happy to believe a woman over a man, whether that comes down to who's the better liar I'm not sure.
