Elsewhere, it's been reported that we've agreed terms with Reina but Man City are sniffing.

Loud whispers tonight that Tammy Abraham has agreed a season long loan. If true, it surely means that there'll be another striker incoming as we need more than an unproven top division one.

If it's a deal where we can trigger a permanent deal after clauses are met then im all for it. If not then it's a risk.

Very much like the idea of a prolific striker on loan; even if unproven at top level.

Gives the player a chance; gives us a chance to; an 'option' on him for a prior agreed fee, is good policy.

Rafa. Limited, but still decent budget, managed like this is top notch.

Some others will whinge, or even say it's not a Benitez signing / but they are just deluding themselves. I stand by my position - you don't need to spend wads of cash, you need to spend wisely instead.

Amid some Turkish interest, officials are said to be meeting the club this week to discuss Mitrovic moving away. Not sure if a loan deal or permanent.

Mitrovic away would be great, he will never cut it imho. I like the sound of the proposed midfielder upgrade, Colback out and Delph in. Hell of a step up in quality for me. Hope it happens.
