Love the description of Rheady.

What a load of embittered nonsense that Lancashire Telegraph report is. Was he watching a different game to me? It gives the distinct impression that Lincoln's non-league cloggers roughed up talented Burnley and won by foul means, not fair. The last paragraph is particularly full of drivel:

"The day should belong to them and so should the story. That will suit Burnley just fine."

What, being knocked out of the FA Cup at home by a team 4 tiers below them when a trip to Wembley was a good prospect this season? Complete and utter rubbish.

The Telegraph report seems pretty much spot on. "Burnley were Burnleyed" Dyche won't make complaints about us. He hasn't, he's good like that. It appeared that we had a fairly physical plan, which worked, and we're entitled to. If we make a challenge worthy of a booking, we get a booking, as Power correctly discovered. That's allowed.

The Lancashire Telegraph tries to make out we were nasty b*stards. From what I saw, they gave as good as they got. This is certainly not what I was expecting of Burnley, in particular. It doesn't wash with me that physical rubbish. They're Premiership and they're Burnley, and they should be able to deal with it. We were better than them, end of. Deserved victory.

"The 32-year-old tank of a forward for the non-league put himself about the pitch all game in an old-fashioned approach to cup football"

You'd better believe it! :pointy:

On a media-related note, does anyone have links to any Radio Lincs clips? I'd like to hear Michael Hortin's reaction!

Hortin was more subdued than Arnold's against Ipswich but still going mad. Thommo was quite calm and giggly, joking and rather happy. Maybe it isn;t a surprise to them anymore. lol

I heard it on the iplayer thingamy an hour after the game and was hard to move the slider back because it would move about 5 minutes at a time. It will be a nightmare now but I assume someone will find a "shortened version."

Didn't realise local radio was on iPlayer, that'll do me!

Scroll down to the bottom to vote for Lincoln as the greatest cup shock ever (although I think Wrexham Arsenal probably was moreso. lol)

The goal is somewhere around the 2 hour 18 mark on this clip (if you don't want to listen to the whole game again):

That's how I catch up if I miss any post-match interviews.

Also good to hear the post-match one that DC does with Hortin to see if his explanations of team selections worked!
