I'm really impressed with the photographs on here and I'd like to put a couple on myself but I'm a bit of a muppet where technology is concerned. Don't laugh, but how do I get a photo onto this thread?
I've tried all sorts of copying and pasting but it doesn't want to play.

Don't worry mate, it's not that easy, so you're not alone.

There are 2 ways. You can shrink the picture down to less than 100kb, and then before you submit your post tick the "Attach a file after posting" box just above it. This will then allow you to browse for your pictures on the next screen.

The problem is that these files tend to be too small and really hit the quality of the shots. The preferred route is to open a Flickr account, upload them there and then the provide an HTTP link which you just copy and paste into the text box.

I'm still doing something wrong because I'm posting then having to edit, turn the disable http off and send again.
