As I have travelled round the world, I have heard the same refrain.
From the heights of Quito, to the waterfront in Shanghai; from the back streets of Boca, to the Islamic splendours of Samarkand, everyone I have spoken to have said the same.
”My second team is Sheffield Wednesday because their fans are the best in the world”.
I even saw a graffito on a wall in Ulan Bator which the translator assured me read “WAWAW, the world wide bouncing army”. However, that was more than 5 years ago, so I’m not sure if it is still there.

Apparently the Umbongo tribe in the jungles of Central Africa have Baldy Bannan as their God. And all wear Pig home kits at ceremonies.

I was disappointed with our performance but thought it was a typical game of a team who can put ball in the back of the net against a side who can't. I wasn't too bothered about it being 0-0 at the break. Most of the season we've been a second half team. Barnsley created very little throughout and had one decent chance in first half. Our finishing wasn't much better. Other than the goals we didn't get many more on target. Still it's vital 3 points we need.
