It seems that different sectors of spectator events are being treated with different criteria. It would appear that performing arts mainly indoors have more clout than football clubs as they are going to be allowed to have a percentage of their capacity even mainly in doors and a football club can have none. Is this because they have a better pressure group or that the upper crust more restrained than us Hoi Polloi . This is not Political but a failure to understand because both sectors need to make money and should be treated fairly.

It’s cos the upper classes always keep a respectable distance between themselves as they all think they’re better than everybody else whilst we don’t mind who we hug or kiss when our team scores a goal or wins or in our case atm wins a corner

There are many thousands more, many of them self employed, in the PA sector, many of them small, individual concerns so , letting them operate, gives them a lifeline almost immediately whereas eg a football club is , often, a much larger concern needs so much more input to operate.

Another issue that does not seem to be considered when talking about getting 'crowds' back is just that. It's a crowd, ( even with say 25% capacity)it has to get there thus putting pressure on public transport , on local pubs/cafes etc. A small PAcompany can probably break even with much smaller volumes, creating less , if any, presure on public services and spaces.

That's my theory anyway.

It's completely scandalous that no fans are allowed in. It really is. Every other country has made some effort. Just not us c*nts.

If this carries on much longer I hope we have fans gathering at stadiums in protest, making reasonable demands.

Careful Chronic you could be given a hefty fine for inciting people to break the 6 rule.
