UEFA Nations League

That messing about in midfield and across the back reminded me of Villa under Bruce towards the end.
I can see the point of playing out from the back but every so often you have to opt for safety first and give it a pisser. P.McG did.

What about when we used to pass the ball back from a goal kick under Lambert.

Guzan used to play the ball backwards from edge of six yard box to a defender, unbelievable.

We got what we deserved nothing, we gifted them 3 goals....

Cant do that and expect to win.

Mourinho for England manager job, southgate out of his depth. Achieved nothing at club management level.

But he’s a squeaky clean Englishman, so the FA love him and the fans think “he’s one of us”.

The way fellow pundits like Ian wright and Dixon talk about him as some future top manager makes my blood rise a few degrees. I reckon Roy Keane is the only one who would dare say anything against the grain.

Southgate will get us out of the groups in the Euros because it’ll be harder to not get out than get out, but the First Nation we meet in the knockouts with a population over 3m in the top 20 rankings and we’ll get turned over - as usual.
